Accounting
Our
patient account representatives are here to assist
patients with billing questions. Together, they have
fifteen years experience and are able to answer all
questions related to the Canandaigua Medical Group's
billing policies and procedures. Additionally, our
patient account representatives are glad to help
our patients with general insurance questions as
needed. They are available Monday through Friday
from 8am to 5pm.

Jody Barscheski

Jody Barscheski has been working at the Canandaigua Medical Group as a Patient Account Representative since August, 1995. Prior to that she was working in data entry for 7 months. |

Jeff Schott
|
Jeff Schott joined the Canandaigua Medical Group in January 2007 as a full-time Patient Account Representative in our Administration Department. Jeff came to us with almost 30 years experience in accounting and finance including collections. He also has familiarity with the medical profession as his late wife was a Physician Assistant for many years.
Jeff grew up in Queens, New York City and has lived in western New York for the past 25 years. Jeff lives here in Canandaigua with his two children. In his spare time, he enjoys fishing, sports, going to the theater, traveling and spending time with family and friends. |

Data
processing employees work behind the scenes in a
medical facility. You may never see them but their
responsibilites are vital to a medical practice.
They have a variety of billing responsibilities.
Some of those responsibilities are charge and payment
data entry, inpatient and outpatient billing, statement
processing, electronic and paper claim submissions
to insurance companies and claim adjudication.

Chris Brewer
|
Chris Brewer joined the Canandaigua Medical Group in August of 1999 as the Data Processing Supervisor. Chris enjoys her position and co-workers here at CMG.
Chris is married and has two wonderful sons: Tim (17) and Mike (14). Their family lives in the beautiful hills of Middlesex. Chris enjoys gardening, traveling, going to her sons' sporting events and spending time with her family and friends.

Pat Smith
|
Pat Smith has been with the Canandaigua Medical Group since March of 1984. She began as a Front Desk Receptionist and a year later moved to the position of Worker Compensation Clerk in our Data Processing Department. Pat once again changed positions within the Data Processing Dept. in 1988 to become our Hospital Billing Specialist.
Pat lives right here in Canandaigua with her husband, Ron. They have 3 wonderful children: Kristine (NY), Michelle (NC) and James (NJ) along with 4 grandchildren. In her free time, Pat enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, gardening and golf.

Bonnie Thibodeau has been a Data Processing Clerk with the Canandaigua Medical Group since October of 1973.
Bonnie and her husband of 39 years, Bill, live in nearby Victor. They have two children and five grandchildren. She enjoys genealogy, reading, traveling, knitting and crocheting

Front
Desk
The
front desk is located just inside the front door
when you first enter the Canandaigua Medical Group
main office in Canandaigua. Our front desk staff
are responsible for patient registration and demographic
maintenance. All new patients stop at our front desk
for registration and assignment of a medical record
number. The Canandaigua Medical Group switchboard
and cashier desk are located at the front desk as
well.

Tina Clarke began working at the Canandaigua Medical Group in May of 2001.
She lives in Canandaigua and has 3 grown sons.
In her spare time, Tina enjoys spending time with her sons, reading, and get-togethers with friends for dinner or coffee

Records
Our
Medical Records Department is the central hub of
our corporation. The staff works continuously to
assure that charts are in the right place at the
right time so that the appointment process can flow
smoothly. They continually attempt to keep charts
organized and neat for more efficient use by
the offices. You will see the Medical Records employees
scurrying throughout the building as well as behind
the scenes so that your appointment can be processed
in an efficient manner.

Charlotte Cummings
|
Charlotte Cummings joined the Canandaigua Medical Group in 1995 as a Clerk in our Medical Records Department. She left to work as a Receptionist in our Ancillary Department in 2001 but just for a short time -- then decided to return to Medical Records.
Char has lived all her life in Canandaigua. She has been married for 43 years and has one daughter and two granddaughters (Alexis-3 and Ashlyn-1). Her home is brightened by her Bichon Frise, Kozmoe. In her spare time, Char enjoys taking care of her granddaughters and an elderly lady across the road, working in her flower garden, and surfing the internet.

Gloria Keller
|
Gloria Keller started with the Canandaigua Medical Group in 1966 as a Pediatrics Receptionist. She worked in Pediatrics for 22 years prior to retirement. However, in 1990 Gloria decided that staying at home was not for her and she returned to the Group as a Medical Records Clerk on a part-time basis. In 1998, Gloria changed her status from part-time to full-time.
Besides working full time, Gloria enjoys traveling to see her family. She has 3 grown children - Debbie, Amy and David as well as 4 grandchildren ranging in ages from 10 to 24. Gloria spends most of her spare time traveling all over the country, knitting, and reading.

Linda Lunser
|
Linda Lunser began at the Canandaigua Medical Group in 2001 as a Medical Records Clerk.
Linda lives in nearby Rushville with her husband of 15 years and two boys. Her home is brought alive by many animals including a sun conure bird, 2 dogs, a ferret, a bearded dragon lizard, 6 geese and 3 ducks. She also enjoys working with beads.

Pam Tilley
|
Pam Tilley joined the Canandaigua Medical Group as a Medical Assistant in January of 1995. In December of 2007, Pam was promoted to the Supervisor of our Medical Records Department. She feels very lucky to live in an area with so many skilled physicians.
Pam has two daughters of her own, Erica and Meaghan, and is married to Chris who also has two children, John and Sarah. Pam is a proud new grandmother! Matthew Edward was born to Erica & Joseph Iannotti on 07/15/05. Her other daughter, Meaghan & Patrick Burras are expecting a new baby in September 2005. In her spare time, Pam enjoys gardening, redecorating, painting, refinishing furniture, camping/traveling, hiking and just hanging out at home with her family.

Debbie Shannon

Debbie joined the Canandaigua Medical Group on 6/17/03 as a part-time Medical Records Clerk in our Medical Records Department. Debbie became full time in July of 2005.
Debbie lives close by in Shortsville. She has three children: Danny (24), Brandon (21) and Emily (15). Debbie's house is also full of activity by her three dogs (2 schitzus and a schitzu-springer mix) and two cats. Debbie enjoys gardening and is a big animal lover.

Vicki began at the Canandaigua Medical Group in June, 2005 as a full-time temporary Medical Records Clerk - she was then hired as a regular Medical Records Clerk in September.
Vicki lives in Canandaigua with her husband and son. She enjoys bowling, camping and being outdoors. |

Transcription
The
Transcription Department employees work behind the
scenes in our medical facility. You may never see
them but their responsibilities are vital to our
medical practice. Some of their responsibilities
include: performing transcription of provider dictation
on a timely basis, completing forms for insurance
companies, risk managment/legal copying and performing
secretarial procedures as requested as well as various
other clerical type duties.

Ann Marie Ewing

Ann Marie Ewing was a Pediatric Receptionist at the Canandaigua Office of the Canandaigua Medical Group from 1989 to 1991. From 1991 to 2007, Ann served as a Patient Accounting Representative. She transferred to her current position as a full-time Medical Transcriptionist in February 2007. |

Andrea Gibbs

Andrea Gibbs joined the Canandaigua Medical Group in August, 2002 as a full-time Transcriptionist in our Transcription Department.
Andrea lives in nearby Shortsville. She is the single mom of one 14-year old son (Timothy). She also shares her home with her petfinch. She enjoys walking, reading, spending lots of time with family and friends and playing euchre. |

Dorothy O'Coyne joined the Canandaigua Medical Group in 1999 as a full-time transcriptionist.
Dorothy and her husband, Daniel, live in nearby Clifton Springs. Their home is made complete by two daughters: Kelly (24) and Katie (21). She enjoys traveling, reading, going to craft shows and spending time with her daughters.
